In a suburban neighborhood, Simon Flaouter, winner of the Dotation Gault&Millau, has opened his first restaurant in place of the former Le Tandem wine bar, after a stint with Jacky Ribault at Les Mérovingiens and L'Ours. With an attractive €25 lunch menu, the menu is not too crazy, but a little more gourmet and varied. Its rustic bistronomy cuisine is renewed daily according to seasonal produce. A pâté en croûte de cochon, corn and vegetable pickles, red mullet à la niçoise with a compote of tomatoes, capers, kalamata olives and tarragon, a dish full of freshness with a slight acidity before a good dessert of cherries, sorbet, pickles and almond crumble. The small wine list is waiting to be expanded, the staff are friendly and, in fine weather, there's a terrace at the back of the restaurant.
