"A hotel where every room is a cinema"... The Karmitz brothers (head of the MK2 group) have fulfilled this crazy dream in 2021 by inaugurating the world's first cinema-hotel. 35 rooms and 2 suites, where all you have to do is click on a tablet to choose from thousands of titles, and the magic begins: a 3-metre-wide screen appears, the room fades into darkness, and you can even have popcorn brought in on room service. This unique concept was designed by Alix Thomsen, with the DVVD agency responsible for the entire universe: café with terrace, private karaoke room, rooftop bar, open-air cinema and even coworking spaces, not forgetting the participation of major artists who added their touch to the project. Christian Boltanski has designed a light installation and JR two large-scale frescoes, the most spectacular of which is inspired by Charlie Chaplin's mythical "Kid". A must-see venue for all film lovers!
