Gourmet Restaurant One of those hidden, deserving addresses that Gault&Millau likes to show off, on the edge of the département, on the borders of the Bugey region, where the young, fiery Rhône separates the Ain and Isère departments. Samuel Boulle, a local chef, has returned to the region after a number of successful experiences, and shares his expertise with his guests, in a cuisine that's both sophisticated and tasty: warm lamb and foie gras pâté, frog cromesquis with parsley pesto, smoked poultry ballottine with hay and Montagnieu sauce, cookie fondant coco pannacotta litchi mousse rhum vanilla ice cream, pineapple brunoise. Reasonable prices, well-composed menus (the entire menu in the Caprice menu at €56).
