In the heart of the Bugey region, between Geneva and Lyon, Jeanne Marie and Estelle Jacquemet perpetuate the family tradition of generous, no-frills cuisine, where freshness and authenticity are the order of the day. Rack of veal with Bresse blue cheese sauce, free-range chicken with cream sauce, compote just like at home, and innovations inspired by market arrivals such as crab flan with paprika sauce or artichoke. The prices are reasonable, the plates well composed and the cellar sufficient.
