Gault&Millau's review2026
We always return to Francis Tessandier's with the sparkling memory of an experience apart, a kind of out-of-this-world place, summoning up the spirit of the Parisian brasseries of yesteryear. Full of references, this timeless bistro is today the scene of father and son Franck, working together to keep this atypical place alive. We can't get enough of the pâté en croûte or the tartelette with san daniele ham, morel mushrooms and seasonal vegetables, nor of the Corrèze farm-raised veal au sautoir, pan-fried shiitake mushrooms and marsala jus. You can also try the white sweetbread boudin with shallot confit, or the quince liqueur baba. Well-made cellar.
