In a region where most hotels are built in former farmhouses or castles, this address, nestled in the heart of Brive-la-Gaillarde, offers a welcome alternative with its surprising art deco allure. On arrival, the tone is set by a superb Parisian glass roof that fills the first floor with light. The twenty rooms echo this 20s style, blended with more contemporary furnishings and comforts (prefer the more spacious deluxe rooms). On the first floor, the lounge bar invites you to sip delicious cocktails while leafing through the library's fine books on deep sofas. A cosy, family-friendly place, ideal for exploring the city.
