Gault&Millau's review 2025

Close to the old town of Brive-la-Gaillarde, this refuge has been converted from a former industrial hardware store, retaining its imposing volumes. Today, it houses a dozen rooms decorated with elegance and simplicity, not to mention a beautiful rooftop with swimming pool and terrace where you can enjoy a drink while admiring the view over the city's rooftops. On the first floor, the restaurant Le Comptoir Saint-Sernin serves tasty local cuisine, ideal for restoring your strength after a visit to the surrounding treasures: the villages of Collonges-la-Rouge and Turenne, the chasms of La Fage and Padirac, not to mention the hiking trails through the magnificent landscapes of the Lot and Dordogne valleys.
