Gault&Millau's review2026
Twenty years after taking over this inn, which dates back to the early 19th century, Christelle and Rodolphe Regnauld are still as energetic as when they started, despite the terrible ordeals they have sometimes had to endure. Breton by birth, Auvergnat by adoption, this chef whom we have regularly rewarded (Jeune Talent in 2009, Tradition d'Aujourd'hui trophy in 2019), offers a cuisine in his image, full of intensity, blending the influences of a Brittany of which he is so proud and to which he remains viscerally attached, with those of an Auvergne he has learned to love and understand over time. Gravlax d'omble-chevalier du moulin du Clos, lime/basil sorbet, citrus and pickles, roasted cod in a lemon/hazelnut Viennoise, Paimpol coconut and shellfish cream, Jivara milky chocolate, granny-smith apple and Piedmont hazelnut in a superb D'Ici et D'ailleurs menu offering excellent value for money. Huge cellar, smiling and committed service, under the direction of Christelle Regnauld.
