Sponsored Nowhere else will you be welcomed into such a setting, in the heart of the Gevrey-Chambertin vineyards. This stone building dating back to 1623 is a veranda, terrace, petanque courts... In the image of Alex and Théo, the owners, the XVI is a place where family and friends gather to spend a convivial and friendly moment, tasting delicious dishes. To achieve this, they have given carte blanche to Chef Cyril Bigeard, who offers a French take on world cuisine, inspired as much by his travels as by his current desires, "drawing his raw materials mainly from local producers, because they deserve it", he assures us. As his menu changes with the seasons, it's impossible to name specific dishes. But the quality of the food and wine pairings is always there: the bottles are Burgundian because, as they themselves admit, the bosses are chauvinists. Finally, a novel could be written about the chic, cosy setting, conviviality, themed evenings and pleasure of entertaining enjoyed by this friendly team..
