Gourmet Restaurant The visits follow one another without always resembling one another. What they all have in common is a beautiful red-and-white house and a menu that makes you salivate: you're about to indulge in Georges Blanc's cuisine at a low price. However, if the service is well briefed and well-ordered, even if the executives are absent, the plate isn't always up to scratch, as in the case of the escalope of foie gras des Landes, pan-fried, with candied apple and artichoke, which falls far short of its promise, the roasted scallops, around a butternut royale, a beurre battu with a marriage of sweet spices and a chocolate and caramel heart dome that isn't really enjoyable. The wine list is broad enough to satisfy all tastes, although this time the bill is less generous than usual.
