Gault&Millau's review 2025

Mâcon's former Hôtel des Postes has been transformed into a 4-star hotel, and so much the better, as it provides the perfect refuge in the heart of the city. Ideal for both business and pleasure, this 1900 mansion features 69 rooms and suites with a contemporary elegance: king-size beds, designer furnishings and shades of beige and ochre. Designed for relaxation and well-being, the hotel features a spa with hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, treatment rooms and heated indoor pool (rare in a city center). Last but not least, the hotel has turned its roof into one of Mâcon's finest rooftops, offering a 180° view of the city, the blue waters of the Saône and even Mont Blanc on a clear day.
