Gourmet Restaurant An exciting bistro in the Contrescarpe district, led by Kazuma Chikuda. The place has an obvious conviviality, with its loft-like layout, soft, textured colors, bricks, wood, glass, straw, steel and vegetation. The chef's French-Japanese take on terroir includes endives and miso, with fourme d'Ambert cheese, breadcrumbs and passion vinaigrette, fish and pointed cabbage, celebratory apples, lovage sabayon and clams. There's also guinea fowl leg stuffed with mushrooms, white asparagus and tarragon sauce, Noilly Prat emulsion and sorrel, and the famous "cookie dough" just out of the oven, vanilla ice cream, caramel and peanuts. Menu €36.
