Gourmet Restaurant MOF Éric Trochon sometimes leaves Solstice to indulge in his new Contrescarpe address, a sort of franchouille izakaya, where bistro dishes take on a Far Eastern air. With its central counter, no-reservation system and fine cellar of organic and natural wines, the place has quickly become a convivial HQ, where you can have a drink and share competitive small plates. We'll be coming for the green asparagus, candied egg and katsuobushi, Korean-style fried cauliflower, chard and pine nut barbajuans, fish no chips and black mayo curry, grilled bonito with lemon condiment, miso arancini and chocolate cake with fleur de sel and tonka.
