We love this hotel in the 5th arrondissement, tucked away just a few minutes’ walk from the Panthéon, Notre-Dame, and the Left Bank. Designed by architect Cyril Durant Behar, who skillfully blends raw concrete and a ’70s vibe with plush sofas and vintage furniture, the result—as original as it is inviting—is reflected throughout the 53 rooms spread across 7 floors (some opening onto small terraces) and the common areas, notably the lounge-bar where guests can sip a signature cocktail with names inspired by local landmarks. On the 7th floor, the rooftop offers sweeping panoramic views over the rooftops of Paris—the dome of the Panthéon, the Eiffel Tower, and the Haussmannian skyline. In the basement, the Pilgrim Spa features a heated indoor pool (3 m × 8 m, private access by reservation), a hammam, a 24-hour fitness center, and private massage rooms.
