Chef's Restaurant Right in the heart of Vieux-Lille, you enter the courtyard of this magnificent 17th-century townhouse before being welcomed into the dining bar, which offers a wide range of spirits: Alexandre Dathy, the owner and former sommelier at Rouge Barre, knows how to entertain with his extensive wine and spirits list. Both rooms are elegant, in the style of the house, with a view over the large garden and its summer terrace. This former reception room, where Alexandre's partner Constance cut her teeth in her former life, has been tastefully decorated, blending the modern with the classical moldings of the high ceilings. A solid team ensures an affordable lunch menu at €39 or the five-course Signature menu at €90. Lacquered sot l'y laisse or cod marinated in yuzu sauce precede a veal potimarron and mushrooms, a salmon Bömlo with cauliflower or a fine Argentine entrecôte before enjoying a white chocolate hibiscus dessert or vanilla ice cream with Valrhona chocolate sauce. Two toques this year.
