Gault&Millau's review 2025

If you're a Mama regular, you won't feel out of place! Just a stone's throw from the station and 10 minutes from the Grand-Place, this Lille address has all the hallmarks of the brand's success. All 112 rooms are decorated in the same cheerful, cozy style, with superhero lamps, bright colors and comfortable bedding. Flanked by a lovely terrace, the ground-floor restaurant is built around a central bar with lazy sofas, black ceilings graffitied by the Beniloys studio and large tables for groups of friends. Here, you can enjoy classic brasserie fare, as well as a few Flemish nuggets (welsh, potjevleesch...), before heading off to the lobby for a game of table soccer, or to the third-floor terrace for a nightcap with a 360° view of Old Lille. A cool, friendly place at a great price.
