It wasn't easy, but this hotel has managed the minor miracle of turning the former (and very austere) Polish consulate into one of Lille's most convivial addresses. The 1960s facade has been clad in highly contemporary aluminum, and the place now invites you to get away from it all, starting with the lobby, decorated with elegant plant sculptures, and the common areas, covered with jungle wallpaper, complete with monkeys and parrots. The 48 rooms and 3 suites, with their large bay windows, are ultra-bright and offer chic, contemporary comfort, with blonde wood floors, sleek furnishings and beautiful bathrooms. Other assets? An indoor garden, the Ma Reine brasserie and the Jane gourmet restaurant, not to mention a delicious patisserie, Le Colibri.
