Chef's Restaurant This chic bistro in a chic neighborhood doesn't pretend to cater for all budgets. There's no menu here, just an à la carte menu that will quickly set you back between €70 and €90, depending on your choices, although this doesn't stop the place from selling out every lunchtime. Fortunately, the service is top-notch, because the products are beautiful and Igor Compagnoni's technique is reliable. The homemade foie gras terrine, with its brioche toast and pear compote, is gourmet, the scallops, fregola sarda and creamy Jerusalem artichoke with truffle oil, are perfect, and the Paris-Brest dessert pays homage to the classics of the genre. A classic cellar, also rather severely priced, but with a varied selection by the glass.
