Gault&Millau's review 2025

Opening in 2021, this boutique hotel (the fourth address in the Monsieur Collection) is designed by Anouska Hempel, the British interior design star, who has signed her first address in France. Famous for her design of the Blakes in London (when she pioneered the boutique-hotel concept), the now octogenarian interior designer exploits all the hallmarks of her style. Black marble, tables strewn with architecture and travel books, velvet banquettes and golden lights create a warm, cosy ambience... The 46 rooms and suites echo these principles, with spacious rooms in shades of gold, grey and black. The spa's decor is just as thoughtful, inviting you to relax and feel good, with treatments designed by Le Tigre, the famous Parisian yoga brand. Then there's the restaurant, designed in keeping with the spirit of the place, with a chic and confidential bar, and the Galanga table, led by the young and very promising Thomas Danigo.
