Opened in 2021, this boutique hotel (the fourth property in the Collection Monsieur) bears the signature of Anouska Hempel, the British interior design star, for whom this is her first project in France. Best known for her design of Blakes in London—where she pioneered the boutique hotel concept—the now octogenarian interior designer draws on all the hallmarks of her signature style here. Black marble, tables dotted with architecture and travel books, velvet benches, and warm golden lighting create an atmosphere that’s both cozy and inviting… The 46 rooms and suites embody these principles with spacious interiors blending shades of gold, gray, and black. Equally thoughtfully designed, the decor of the Spa at Monsieur George by EÏA invites guests to relax and unwind, featuring a sauna, hammam, fitness center, and personalized treatments in the hotel’s historic vaulted cellars. Then there’s the dining experience, naturally designed in keeping with the spirit of the venue, featuring a chic and intimate bar and the Galanga restaurant, led by Chef Florian Gravelle.
