Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just a stone's throw from the Élysée Gardens, this mansion has regained its prestige following a major restoration led by interior designer Jacques Garcia, who has breathed new life into long-forgotten decorative elements—woodwork, molding, and cornices—while bathing the rooms in soft light, filtered through the rich fabrics of the draperies… Conceived as a private mansion where every guest is welcomed as a friend, the property features 25 suites and 15 guest rooms, furnished with antique pieces and complemented by bathrooms finished in Carrara marble. The Nescens Spa, specializing in anti-aging treatments, charms guests with its 16-meter pool, hammam, sauna, and treatment rooms. Equally prestigious, the two restaurants under the direction of Executive Chef Jérôme Banctel masterfully reinterpret the classics of French gastronomy: Le Gabriel, in a purely gastronomic spirit, and La Pagode, a contemporary, seasonal brasserie.
