Gault&Millau's review 2025

Already at the helm of Relais Christine and Saint James in Paris, Olivier Bertrand is back in the limelight with this new address not far from the Champs-Élysées, where his taste for French elegance is skilfully heckled. He called in Barcelona studio Quintana Partners, who took advantage of the site's history - a private mansion dating from the 1900s - to bring back the festive, casual spirit of the Belle Époque. Right from the lounge and library, the tone is set with velvet banquettes, antique furniture and a Murano chandelier infusing a luxurious, hushed ambience. The 37 rooms and suites, with their canework, velvets and curves, echo the same spirit, as does the Omnisens spa with its wood furnishings and earthenware tiles. Last but not least, a mention for the Korean-inspired cuisine, led by chef Ji-Hye Part - creator of Oma - and above all for the divine cocktails by Julien Quettier.
