The winey nose is powerful, with aromas of roasted red berries, yellow fruit, toasted nuts and honey. Following a particularly frothy mousse, the bubbles are sandy and mineral on the palate. Juicy ripe fruit and walnut shells bring burnt notes to this wine, which stretches to a powerful finish.
