The wine offers an amazing and complex nose with notes of grilled almonds, juicy pears, rhubarb, cherry brandy and menthol. The richness of the wine is balanced by a great freshness both begging for a second sip. On the palate, the body is rich, enveloping but still maintaining freshness and a fully mastered balance between sweetness and acidity. Let’s enjoy it!

Vilmart & Cie
Laurent Champs, great-grandson of Désiré Vilmart, took over the estate in 1990. He is now supported by his daughter Morgane. Today, the vineyard comprises 11 hectares planted with chardonnay (60%) and pinot noir, on terroirs classified as premier cru. The entire production is aged for ten months in foudres (some of which are over 40 years old) and oak barrels. Laurent is undoubtedly one of the region's finest winemaker-oil growers.
