Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin
Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, widowed at the age of 27, gave her letters of nobility to this house founded in 1772 by her husband, thanks to her talents as a businesswoman. In 1987, the 393-hectare estate was acquired by the LVMH group, which made it the second-largest champagne brand in terms of volume. The wines reveal extra finesse and a vinous style due to the high proportion of pinot noir in the blends. Didier Mariotti, who joined us from Mumm and became cellar master in 2020, reigns over an incredible collection of reserve wines, allowing for all manner of blends.
