A deep gold color for this 1998, with a rich nose of oranges, spices, dried fruit and mirabelle plum tart. The palate seems more evolved than the nose, suggesting mushroom and undergrowth aromas. The finish, superb in its freshness, is a perfect match for sweetbreads with morel mushrooms.
