A sensation of sweet citrus peel (blood orange, clementine) is expressed in a fresh, shy nose. On aeration, spices (nutmeg, coriander) reveal themselves, followed by notes of cocoa and coffee. After a lightly saline attack, the palate gains in body, supported by notes of orange juice, ripe yellow peach and redcurrant, which follow through to a taut, spicy finish.
