Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Garance Thiénot, head of marketing, and Stanilas, her brother, who serves as CEO—a cuvée named after them is available in the lineup—have taken the reins of the family business founded by their father, Alain, in 1985. Working alongside them is Nicolas Uriel, who will celebrate his tenth anniversary as cellar master in 2027. In fact, he has been with the company for much longer, having been responsible for managing procurement from the winegrowers since 2008. The vineyards, covering 30 hectares, are located in Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites in Damery, Cumières, Dizy, Pierry, as well as Aÿ, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Avize, which enable the development of a “Collection” line named Origine, Famille, and Special Release.
