A fascinating interpretation of pinot noir from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, this cuvée is above all a rarity: 2,313 bottles, not one more, were produced in this sunny vintage, and each one is a thrill. A thrill generated from the first sip by the impressive volume, where the wine seems powerful without bearing the stigma of a hot year (a rare occurrence in this vintage). Then there's the thrill of the aromatic range, where touches of beeswax, nectarine and baked apple marry with hints of cereal and nuts in a salivating, ultra-digest finish.
