Caramel, peony, violet, peach and white pepper on the nose. The bubbles are rather subdued. Full-bodied on the palate (high but not wide). Ripe fruit retro-olfaction, combined with woody and spicy (cinnamon) notes. The finish is chalky with tension. A wine for the aperitif.
