Atypical for the region, this pure Pinot Meunier is a great success. The nose is airy and fine, but also highly aromatic, with notes of pear, fresh quince, pomme de grenier and brugnon. On the palate, the texture is a delight, enlivened by very fine bubbles. The champagne delivers intense fruitiness and a gourmet, full-bodied vibrancy. Finishes finely tannic, crunchy under the tooth. It's brilliant. A classic pairing: poultry supreme with chanterelle mushrooms.
