The intense, almost sauternes-like golden color gives way to a very ripe, almost evolved nose, with aromas of undergrowth, dried mango, mirabelle plum compote, almost muscatel. Notes of bread crust and toast appear with aeration, adding complexity. The palate is fresher, with notes of white fruit and citrus zest before a taut finish of salinity and yellow lemon. The well-presented bubbles are invigorating.
