This cuvée originates from the terroir of Urville in the Côte des Bar with a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 10% Meunier, 10% Chardonnay and 5% Vrai Blanc (the local traditional name of Pinot Blanc). With a religiously sparkling golden-silvery robe, the bubbles are fine and persistent. The nose is floral (hawthorn and elderberry), then fruity (Reine-claude, mirabelle plum), ending on a note of fresh bread. In the mouth, the Pinot Noir speaks with a juicy fruitiness, finishing with a citrusy, even lemony freshness. A plate of raw sea bass marinated in dill is a great match.
