From the terroirs of Fleury-la-Rivière, this 100% meunier is an exceptional cuvée made from a parcel-by-parcel selection of old vines and a first press of the 2010 harvest. Its brilliant gold color with gray highlights is supported by a sparkling effervescence of fine, scattered bubbles. The nose is delicate, with fragrances of yellow peach, mirabelle plum and apricot bergeron, accented by honeyed aromas, candied angelica and a roasted finish. On the palate, full-bodied and lively, with refreshing bubbles, the whole is coordinated and intense. Pair with goose foie gras terrine and mirabelle plum chutney, guinea fowl with morel mushrooms or a fine mirabelle plum tart.

A&J Demière

This family estate, located in Fleury-la-Rivière on the right bank of the Marne since 1936, began marketing its own production in 1945. Audrey and Jérôme, the third generation, have been in charge of the estate since 1998, creating the A&J Demière brand in 2003. A new winery was built in 2015, and the estate also offers gîtes and chambres d'hôtes. The vineyard includes all three classic grape varieties, with a majority of pinot meunier (50%) and pinot noir (30%), the remaining 20% being chardonnay. The house combines traditional methods (barrel vinification, ageing in troglodyte cellars) with innovative ones (ovoid vats, solera, parcel-based cuvées).
