Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Charles Heidsieck: a unique style based on the blending of reserve wines and aging in chalk cellars. To carry on this tradition, a cellar master with a deep understanding of the house was needed. Émilien Erard has been the right man for the job since 2023, having held various positions within this house founded in 1851. He is responsible, in particular, for a relatively limited range of wines produced from the house’s 75 hectares of vineyards located in the Marne and Aube regions, supplemented by grapes sourced from growers committed to environmental preservation, respect for biodiversity, and sustainable soil management.
