At Gratien, this 2006 is only now being released... after more than 13 years in the cellar. The color, barely marked by age, is beginning to evolve. On the nose, notes of toast, candied rhubarb and lemon tart are revealed with finesse. On the palate, the bubbles are meticulous and the wine is supple, full-bodied and delicious, before tightening to a clean, long finish. Another great vintage, to be opened with spider crab or poached lobster with vanilla.
