Gourmet Restaurant For the past few months, this new restaurant in the heart of the pedestrian zone has been providing a refreshing breath of fresh air, taking Castelroussins to distant, welcoming shores. Depending on the season and market produce, young chef Tony Laurent Perrot composes a dozen or so small plates to share, assembling ingredients from every continent with a fine vista to create composite and frankly successful dishes: gambas karaage, Peruvian-style chicken salsa verde, Jerusalem artichokes ricotta with miso crumble sesame peanut really warmed us up in the middle of winter, and regulars are already raving about the home-made fries as an essential accompaniment. Apple and clementine to form two desserts that finish well, a small selection of wines (not really a priority), a few beers and cocktails in a delightful two-level setting of parquet flooring, beams, banquettes and vintage seats, hosted in the right mood by Sophia and Nathanaël.
