On the borders of Poitou, Berry and Touraine, this 14th-century building has preserved its old tiles, thick walls and small cobbled courtyard, now overrun with flowers. Now transformed into a hotel-restaurant, this warm, bucolic setting is home to 11 family rooms and suites. Divided between two buildings, they all exude the same intimate, cosy atmosphere, with their waxed parquet floors, antique furniture and more contemporary splashes of color. Breakfast is served under the pergola overgrown with honeysuckle and jasmine, while meals are served in the dining room warmed by a huge fireplace, the ideal refuge for savoring a cuisine that celebrates local produce. A perfect stopover for discovering the nearby Brenne park or the Futuroscope, less than an hour's drive away.
