Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of Romorantin, this address is housed in a 16th-century manor house, converted into a hotel in the 1770s. Wishing to perpetuate this long-standing tradition of hospitality, Marie-Christine Clément has spiritually redecorated the 16 rooms, which now revolve around an interior courtyard combining old woodwork and church flagstones, sun mirrors and contemporary chandeliers. A Relais & Châteaux member, this warm, timeless refuge is just a stone's throw from the ponds and undergrowth so dear to George Sand.
