Sponsored In 2020, Tarek Mekkaoui established Malak al Tawouk, Lebanon's renowned street food brand, in Paris. The suggestions, gourmet and copiously served, are created in-house according to authentic recipes using fresh French produce and spices from the land of the cedar. They delight the taste buds. Local Lebanese and all lovers of this subtle cuisine flock to the restaurant from 12:00 to 23:00 Monday to Sunday, on rue René Boulanger, rue Saint-Charles and rue Jussieu. Don't miss the Tawouk sandwich: pita bread, garlic cream, spicy coleslaw, hand-cut chicken pieces marinated 48 hours before cooking, and fresh French fries. It's 30 cm long, super generous, gourmet and inexpensive for such quality. We're also crazy about the Lebanese salad and the tender, melt-in-the-mouth aiguillette baronne burger...".
