Gault&Millau's review2025
Halfway between a guest house and a Parisian hotel, this new address is just a stone's throw from the Gaîté Lyrique and in the heart of the "Silicon Sentier", the part of the 3rd arrondissement that's home to the best start-ups of the moment. Designed to reflect the effervescence of the area, the Solly is a place to sleep, of course, but also to work, with lounges and meeting rooms, to have a drink and eat, with a kitchen open from dawn to dusk, all while mingling with the many locals who already frequent the hotel. As for the rooms (51), the promises are kept, with warm, comfortable spaces in shades of brown, graphic 1970s fabrics and large windows opening onto the large square below. Finally, a mention for the Solly's commitment to the environment, with its emphasis on recycling, short supply chains and limited water consumption.
