Gault&Millau's review 2025

Opened in 2015, this boutique hotel exudes vintage charm just a stone’s throw from Porte Saint-Martin. Tucked away in the shade of a quintessentially Parisian little square, you step through the door of a former brothel dating back to 1854, brought up to date by the trio of Pierre Moussié, Élodie Moussié, and Sophie Richard (Brasserie Barbès, Chez Jeannette, Le Floréal), and the charm takes hold. With a subdued atmosphere and retro-chic decor featuring plenty of House of Hackney fabrics… This incredibly cozy spot features a marble-clad bar on the ground floor where you can enjoy a house cocktail by the fireplace. The dining room (which opens onto a superb garden terrace and a piano bar) invites you to savor seasonal French cuisine, not to mention the excellent weekend brunches. Upstairs are the guest rooms—18 in all—each featuring its own mini cocktail bar, not to mention a suite on the top floor with a breathtaking view of Paris.
