Gault&Millau's review 2025

Opened in 2015, this boutique hotel unfurls its vintage charm a stone's throw from Porte Saint-Martin. In the shade of a typically Parisian square, you push open the door of a former pleasure house brought up to date by the trio Pierre Moussié, Élodie Moussié and Sophie Richard (Brasserie Barbès, Le Mansart), and the charm takes hold. With its subdued ambience and retro-chic decor featuring British fabrics, the ultra-chic venue features a marble bar on the first floor, where you can enjoy a house cocktail in front of an open fire. The dining room (extended by a superb terrace) invites you to savor internationally-influenced cuisine, not to mention the excellent weekend brunches. Upstairs, it's time for the bedrooms - 18 in all, each with its own cocktail bar - not to mention a top-floor suite with a breathtaking view of Paris.
