Sponsored A well-known establishment in Azé, Le Relais des Grottes was taken over in May 2023 by Laura and Mikaël Grandy: "We've always worked in the restaurant business, and then decided to set up on our own," they explain. On the menu of this traditional and eclectic restaurant: beef bourguignon as well as salmon tataki. "We only work with French products, and as far as possible, regional ones", say the restaurateurs. The menu changes regularly, with customers enjoying frogs, chicken bréchet, snails, pizzas and fish.... "We specialize in frogs, meats and homemade sauces," says Chef Mikaël. All year round, a "Frogs Menu" at 28€ is available. Dishes range from 17€ to 30€ for large cuts of beef to share. The restaurant has a hundred or so French wine references and a fine list of digestifs. Takeaway sales are available on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and catering services can be ordered for groups. Warm atmosphere and open terrace in summer.
