Gault&Millau's review 2025

This Burgundian house on Viré's town square was once the town's coaching inn. Renovated into a hotel-restaurant, it is now owned by chef Frédéric Carrion, who wanted to create a global art of living here, intimately blending gastronomy, hospitality and well-being. Adjacent to the restaurant, the hotel features 9 rooms, each with its own style: country-style with exposed beams, or more contemporary with designer furniture and pure lines. The spa invites guests to enjoy the delights of the hammam, jacuzzi and treatment and massage rooms. Between Mâcon and Cluny, a perfect stopover for discovering the vineyards of Viré-Clessé and, further south, Pouilly-Fuissé.
