Behind an unnamed corner façade lies Cadoret, with its bright room, mosaic floor and semi-open kitchen area. At lunchtime, the only €25 menu is a pleasantly homey affair: roasted Brussels sprouts, salsa macha vinaigrette, pig surprise, salsa verde, mashed potatoes, panna cotta, hazelnuts. For dinner, chef Alice Newman is on hand for a more ambitious à la carte presentation (scallops, crème crue; poached veal brain, beurre blanc; roast duckling, pomme brûlée; brioche ice cream, chocolate tuile...). Organic and biodynamic cellars: Les insouciantes, Didier Grappe's Jura, Henri Chauvet's Froussard Côtes d'Auvergne, Les Maisons Rouges Jasnières. Relaxed welcome and service.
