Between the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord stations, this hotel by Adrien Gloaguen (Touriste Group, which includes the Panache, Beaurepaire and Bienvenue) is helping to breathe new life into this popular, multicultural district. In keeping with its commitment to stylish, affordable spaces, Adrien Gloaguen this time called on British designer Luke Edward Hall. With emerald-green walls, black herringbone floors and gold furniture, the tone is set right from the lobby, and continues throughout the 40 rooms with vitamin-rich colors, beautiful Art Deco furniture and posters by Andy Warhol or David Hockney. In the basement, a fitness room with sauna rounds out the hotel's services, which also suggests that guests cross the street to sample the delights of the Café des Deux Gares, where young Jonathan Schweizer revisits simple, tasty bistro cuisine.
