Gourmet Restaurant On Bergerac's left bank, Hugo Brégeon and Aurore's restaurant boasts a beautiful terrace on the banks of the Dordogne, as well as creative bistronomic cuisine. The chef has no shortage of ideas, bringing together a variety of influences in two coherent menus at €32 and €42. Confit leeks are combined with beechwood-smoked pollack, mimosa vinaigrette and flax tuile; grilled pike-perch is served in a citrus and verbena beurre blanc, with Grenoble-style celery; venison civet is stuffed with cabbage, with a vegetable jus and grilled pak choï. For dessert, pavlova "colada", hazelnut financier, chocolate-arabica namelaka, Ethiopian white coffee ice cream and rice pudding.
