Gault&Millau's review2025
Servane and Florent Reversat have been discreetly and efficiently running this lovely village inn for several years now, at the entrance to the medieval village. From the menu, but also in the dishes, you can sense a distinctive style and a desire to express creativity, sometimes bubbling and sometimes a little restrained, like a desire to show off without rushing. We enjoyed the foie gras mi-cuit with apple jelly and hibiscus, as well as the confit of pork belly, green lentils from Le Puy and capers, with its caramelized, briny notes, before the sablé, pommes confites with Papi Jean's pommeau, which was both sympathetic and modest. The toque comes easily, the setting could do with a little refreshment, though typical, the cellar vast and accessible, with plenty of choice on the premises. Charming terrace under the plane trees in summer.
