The setting is exceptional, a 13th-century bastide with a unique charm, majestic stonework, arcades and superbly preserved architecture. In this medieval setting, the bistro is a bargain not to be missed, even if the menu tends towards simplicity: marrow bone in parsley sauce, duck pastilla, roast camembert with honey and Serrano ham, veal t-bone and pommes grenailles, morel sauce, walnut tart. Reasonably priced.
