It's always pleasant to stroll along the port of La Ciotat... If the sea and beaches are caressed by a pleasant breeze, a breath of youth arrives in the kitchen thanks to Romain Jouin. This young man has quickly made his mark in this bistro, formerly known as Offic'ine. Cieutat may be the old name for La Ciotat, but the food is very much of its time, offering meticulous work, a symbol of rare meticulousness and precision, on a menu that naturally focuses on the sea, but knows how to find good local produce on nearby farms. With tomato in herb oil sliced with raspberry vinegar, Marmande jelly, goat's cheese ice cream, grilled redfish fillet, coral lentil cuisine, green curry jus, grilled pork pluma, sweet potato waffle, candied lemon mousseline, liquorice jus, before a delicious cinnamon ganache peach dessert. Regional wine cellar with good references, well-mastered service under the watchful eye of the owner.
