A singular history and a rather unique location just a few steps from La Ciotat sum up this not-to-be-missed restaurant. This "independent republic of Figuerolles" is the stronghold of a Russian family who settled here in 1956, guarding this lovely cove in the Calanques, where the family's descendants continue to run a charming hotel-restaurant. Christopher's Mediterranean cuisine is in tune with the times: bass ceviche with yuzu pomegranate, avocado and pistachio slivers, octopus with figatelli, mashed potatoes and roasted turnips, traditional bouillabaisse, low-temperature rack of lamb with vitelottes mousseline... A warm atmosphere.
