Selected 87 steps separate you from this independent Republic of Figuerolles, created sixty years ago by a Russian exile and a former pilot of the "Normandie-Niémen". Over the years, the children, then the grandchildren, have taken over this site, which is part of the Calanques National Park. Gregori stays the course in a succession of small terraces overlooking a pebbled mini-beach and turquoise water, facing the dog-headed rock. The welcome is adorable and the €32 menu no great surprise (you pay for the view). Fish soup, crème brûlée with foie gras, filet of magre with leek fondue, citrus cheesecake. Ouch! we'll have to go back up the stairs!
